Udupi: Over 5,000 Units of Blood Collected at Donation Camp

Udupi, Sep 27: A mega blood donation camp was held at Durgaparameshwari Kalyan Mantap, Mandarti, on Sunday September 25.

The camp was organised under the aegis of district Mogaveer Yuva Sangatan, Mandarti unit, and G Shankar Family Trust, Ambalapady.

Over 5,000 units of blood were collected from volunteers on the occasion.

District-in-charge minister Dr V S Acharya, Manipal University vice chancellor Dr H S Ballal, and G Shankar Family Trust promoter Dr G Shankar participated in the voluntary blood camp.
