Mumbai: Caste-Based Organizations Hold Human Resources—Chandrashekar Belchada

Mumbai, Sep 27: “Caste-based organizations hold human resources.  It can only effectively respond to the grievances of community brethren.  The selfless and transparent service of office-bearers can uplift the economically weaker community members to lead a dignified life,” said Chandrashekar Belchada, president, metro-based Thiya Samaj.

He was speaking at the annual general body meeting of Thiya Samaj at Billawar Bhavan auditorium, Santa Cruz (East), on Sunday September 25.



Thiya Samaj executive president Rohidas S Bangera, vice-president Sudhakar Ucchil, honorary secretary Babu Ail, honorary treasurer Ramesh N Ullal, east zone regional committee president Ravindra S Manjeshwar, women’s wing president Vranda Dinesh, west zone regional committee president Narayan Salian, Chandra M Suvarna, ‘Thiya Jyoti’ bulletin editor Sridar S Suvarna, and Shankar C Salian were present on the dais.

Silent prayers were offered for the soul of Praveen Shankar B M, long-serving secretary, who passed away recently.

Elections were held for the executive committee.  Rohidas Bangera, K P Arvind, Shankar C Salian, Dr Dayanand Kumble, and Ravi Manjeshwar were elected as office-bearers.

Babu Ail, Ramesh Ullal, Suresh Bangera, Harish Kundar, Anand Karkera, and Sundar T Bangerawere elected as executive committee members.

V Amin rendered the prayers.  Honorary secretary Babu Ail welcomed the gathering while Vishwanat U K proposed the vote of thanks.
