Mangaluru, Feb 29: On the occasion of National Science Day, a captivating Science Exhibition was organized at Ladyhill English Higher Primary School with the theme "Unveiling the secrets of the Universe." The event aimed to celebrate the spirit of scientific inquiry and foster curiosity about the cosmos.

The science exhibition was inaugurated by the chief guest Bharathi G, police inspector, Urwa Police Station, Mangalore and Sr Violet Tauro, joint secretary Of Ladyhill Institution unveiled the theme of the science exhibition. The chief guest  Bharathi in her message inspired both participants and attendees with her insightful remarks on the relevance of science in our daily lives. Her expertise and passion for exploring the mysteries of the universe set an inspiring tone for the event, encouraging students and visitors alike to delve deeper into the wonders of science.

The students demonstrated remarkable curiosity and creativity during the science model-making event, showcasing their understanding of various topics. From the Botanical Wonders exhibition by class I, Marvels of the Animal Kingdom by class II and the innovative representation of Wonders of Water by class III, each exhibit reflected the students' enthusiasm for scientific exploration.

Additionally, the models depicting relishing the Secrets of Food by class IV, Harnessing the Power of Energy and Electricity by class V, Journey through the Forests by class VI, Appreciating Solar System and Communication by class VII and ISRO’s contribution to space exploration by class VIII showcased their broad understanding of interdisciplinary concepts.

The nearby schools and parents enthusiastically witnessed the science exhibition, marveling at the creativity and ingenuity displayed by the participating students. The event provided a valuable learning opportunity for students from neighboring schools, fostering a sense of curiosity and excitement about science and exploration. Parents were proud to see their children's hard work and dedication showcased in such a prestigious event.
