Udupi: Nithyananda Olakadu, Vishu Shetty presented Ayodhya Mandalotsava award

Udupi, Mar 1: Nithyananda Olakadu and Vishu Shetty who have devoted their life in the service of the poor, orphans and care of animals and birds have been honoured with Ayodhya Mandalotsava award.

In the Mandalotsava celebrations held under the leadership of Ayodhya Ramamandira trustee, Pejavar shree, the two social workers were presented silver pots weighing one kg each offered to Srirama considering and congratulating their social work.

The shree had brought them to Ayodhya by flight at the expense of the Math, praised and felicitated them for their selfless work.

The shree has said that after Rama Mandira, we need Rama Rajya. Therefore it is special that he honoured Olakadu and Vishu Shetty after his calls for everybody to come forward to serve the poor and the weak and work for the wellness and prosperity of the society. The felicitation to two social leaders at Ayodhya has brought honour to Udupi.

Former MLA K Raghupathi Bhat, BJP state vice president Thejaswini Anantkumar, international violin maestro Dr L Subramaniam, friends of shree, Vasudev Bhat Perampalli, Srinivas Prasad, Vishnumoorthi Acharya, Krishna Bhat and others were present.
