Mangaluru: St Aloysius Gonzaga School students bag medals in swimming competition

Mangaluru, Mar 2: The students of St Aloysius Gonzaga School won medals in the ‘Inter district Age Group swimming competition-2024’, organised by Jai Hind Swimming Club at Ryan International School, Kulai Mangaluru, recently.

The winners are Nandan M Karkera of Class VA - 50m freestyle silver medal, 100 mts freestyle bronze medal, 50mts backstroke bronze medal, 4*25mts medley relay silver medal, 4*25mts freestyle relay bronze medal; Harjith M Karkera of Class III A -breast stroke 25mts silver medal, 4*25 medley relay silver medal, 4*25 freestyle relay bronze medal; Aaric Jake D'Souza of Class III A - 4*25 mts medley relay silver medal, 4*25 mts freestyle relay bronze medal; Saatwik Nayak Sujir of Class IX C - Group 1, 50 freestyle gold medal, 100 freestyle gold medal, 50 breaststroke bronze medal; Avaneesh Nayak Sujir of Class IV C -Group 4, 25 freestyle gold medal, 50 freestyle gold medal, 50 breaststroke gold medal, 4*25 mts medley relay silver medal, 4*25 mts freestyle relay bronze medal, Group 4 Individual championship; and Diya Nayak of Class V C won silver medal in 50 mts butterfly, silver medal in 100 mts freestyle, silver medal in 50 mts freestyle, gold medal in 4*25 freestyle, gold medal in 4*25 relay.

In girls’ 4*25m Freestyle Relay Elisha Janice D'Souza of Class VD, Anika G Kamath of Class IV C, Shanvi K of Class VB, and Diya Naik of Class VC won a gold medal.

Rahi Grish of Class IB 25mts board kick silver, 25mts back stroke bronze medal.

The principal and staff congratulated the students for their outstanding performance.
