Mangaluru, Mar 3: A passenger arriving from Dubai at the Mangaluru airport underwent a customs check, revealing various items related to e-cigarettes valued at Rs 9,92,940 in his possession.
A passenger from Kasaragod has been detained in connection with the case.
The search uncovered 240 packets of Natural American Spirit, 20 packets of Caliburn POD Cartridge, 20 packets of Caliburn A2 Reliable POD, 20 packets of Caliburn A2 Side Refilling POD, and 20 packets of Caliburn G3 Refillable POD in his bag. All of these items are different components of an e-cigarette. Customs officials have seized these items.
