Kundapura, March 4: “The world was created by Vishwakarma. It is impossible to imagine the world without Vishwakarmas. We should do our work in a disciplined manner so that our lives, born under Vishwakarma may be worthwhile,” said sculptor of the idol of Lord Sri Rama of Ayodhya, Mysuru resident Arun Yogiraj.
He was reciprocating to the felicitation received by him during his visit to Vishwakarma handicrafts centre of chariot sculptor Rajgopal Acharya, at Kumbhashi, Kundapura taluk. “The prestige of our community will rise when we make the most of the available opportunities,” he said.
“The art of sculpture has huge respect like other arts. The carving of the idol of Lord Sri Rama at Ayodhya has made the entire Vishwakarma community proud. May Arun Yogiraj grow to greater heights by his talent,” said Sridhar Acharya Vaderahobli, managing trustee of Barkur Sri Kalikamba Temple.
Sculptor of Vishwakarma Shilpakala Kendra, Lakshminarayana Acharya Koteshwara felicitated Arun Yogiraj.
