Beltangady: Holy Redeemer School celebrates 69th birthday of correspondent

Beltangady, Mar 7: Holy Redeemer English Medium School, Belthangady celebrated 69th birthday of correspondent Fr Walter D'Mello. 

The students of class 9 sang birthday wishing song, and created the birthday vibe. Correspondent cut the beautifully decorated birthday cake, and was bounded by cheerful applause and birthday song sung by students from play school to class 10. 

On behalf of the teaching, non-teaching staff and students, Preetha D'Souza conveyed good wishes to the correspondent. Assistant headmistress Blendin Rodrigues presented a bouquet and headmaster Fr Clifford Simon Pinto gave away a birthday present from the school.

In response, correspondent gave a beautiful talk on his experiences in different walks of life, and encouraged the young ones with his insights. To mark the conclusion, sweets were distributed to all staff and students.
