Mangaluru, Mar 7: Two-day national level management fest Shriyans-2024 was organized by MBA department of Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil Mangaluru on March 6 and 7.
The two-day fest was inaugurated by Jeevan D’souza country HR lead and Sr HRBP-India EGDK India private limited. Speaking on the occasion he emphasized about the management skills that every management student should possess. He advised the students to make use of all the opportunities that come their way, so that they can excel in their future career.
The formal function was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries on the dais along with some participants. More than eight hundred students from various business schools and UG colleges covering different parts of Karnataka and neighbouring states are participating in this management fest.
Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, chancellor, Srinivas University, president of A Shama Rao Foundation, Mangaluru presided over the function. In his presidential address he motivated students to put their best efforts in all the activities and he also wished them to win more prizes. Dr A Srinivas Rao, pro-chancellor, Srinivas University and vice president of A Shama Rao Foundation, Mangaluru, A Vijayalaxmi R Rao trustee member- board of governors, A Mithra S Rao trustee member- board of governors Srinivas University, secretary of A Shama Rao Foundation, Mangaluru were the guests of honour.
Dr A Srinivas Rao, addressing the students emphasized the importance of management fests and the rich experience students would gain from participating. Smt A. Mithra S Rao in her address appreciated the hard work and initiatives of the students saying that it’s very important to make people happy and cared for, which will help them, reap rich dividends. Smt. A. Vijayalaxmi R Rao graced the occasion.
Dr Shrinivasa Mayya D, principal, Dr Ajoy S Joseph, HOD of MBA department, Prof Dhanya K, staff coordinator, Mohhamed Arfaq and Prerana Pinto, student coordinators of the management fest were present on the occasion. Fathimath Mehtab M K and Moksha were the master of ceremony on the occasion.
