Mangaluru, Mar 8: Dr Devadas Kapikad directorial Kannada movie ‘Purushottamana Prasanga’ which released on March 1 in theatres is receiving a good response. The movie has stepped into its second week.

‘Purushottamana Prasanga’ is produced by V Ravi Kumar under the banner of Rastrakuta pictures.

Ajaya Pruthvi along with Rishika Naik and Deepika Dinesh are playing the lead roles in the movie, along with Devadas Kapikad, Naveen D Padil, Aravind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Saikrishna Kudla, Shobharaj Pavoor, Deepak Rai Panaje, Chethan Rai Mani and others.

The movie was shot across Mangaluru and its surroundings for a stretch of 29 days and Dubai for 10 days. Apart from directing, Devdas Kapikad has written the story, screenplay and dialogues.

Arjun Kapikad has co-directed the movie while Arjun Kaje, Prashanth Kalladka, Vikram Devadiga, Anoop Sagar are assistant directors of the movie, and Vishnu has worked as the movie's cinematographer while music has been composed by Nakul Abhyankar.
