Mangaluru, Mar 9: ‘Aarata’, a Kannada movie produced under the banner of PNR Productions and directed by Pushparaja Rai Malara Beedu, is set to hit theatres in April. The movie's poster was unveiled at the press club on March 8.
Chethan Rai Mani provided details about the movie, stating, "The film was shot in border areas of Karnataka and Kerala, including Mudipu, Anekallu, Uppala, Mangalpady, and Kubanoor. It was filmed over 20 days in two phases. The financial backing for the movie comes from Raghavendra Holla T, Ramprasad K, Nitesh Madamme, and their associates."
Director Pushparaja Rai commented, "The movie has turned out excellently and closely reflects the lifestyle of coastal Karnataka. The songs are melodious and filmed in stunning locations. It encompasses all the elements necessary to entertain the audience, and I am confident that people will thoroughly enjoy it."
Pushparaja Rai Malarabeedu, producer Raghavendra Holla, Chethan Rai Mani, Pushparaj Rai Malarabeedu, Sandeep Bhakta, Venya Rai, Ranjan, Uday Alva Idya and others were present.
The original story of the movie is penned by Raghavendra Holla, while screenplay, dialogues, and direction are handled by Pushparaja Rai Malarabeedu. Assisting in direction are Jayaraj Hejamady, Roshan Alva, Harsharaj Bantwal, Abhi Bolyar, and Sushin. Cinematography is overseen by Ravi, with Damu Kanasur taking charge of editing. Music is composed by Raghavendra Beejadi and Shameer Mudipu. Costume design is by Sharat Poojary Mangalur, makeup by Charanraj Pacchinadka, art direction by Harish Acharya, and still photography by Navneet Vittal. Publicity is managed by Yashwin K Shettigar.
