Mangaluru, Mar 12: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Dakshina Kannada unit held its Booth Karyakarta Convention on Tuesday, March 12 at Sanghaniketan, Mangaluru.

Addressing the gathering, Devendra Fadnavis, deputy chief minister of Maharashtra said, “Today, I had the opportunity to engage with the people of Mangaluru. Mumbai and Mangaluru share a strong connection; Mangalureans in Mumbai have consistently supported the BJP. Whenever I meet someone from here, I feel like I'm meeting an extended part of their family. Looking ahead to the 2024 elections, I believe history will be made. While a government is elected for five years, over the past decade, the achievements of Narendra Modi's government have been unparalleled. The period from 2024 to 2029 holds significant importance. Until now, it has been like a trailer, but in the coming years, you will witness the full movie."

"The Congress has struggled to deliver on its promises, and Siddaramaiah's track record speaks for itself. In contrast, Narendra Modi introduced a new system ensuring that allocated funds reach beneficiaries without corruption. Numerous individuals have benefited from schemes such as gas connections, water supply, electricity, start-up loans, and Mudra loans, without any reported instances of bribery. Under Prime Minister Modi's leadership, approximately 25 crore people have risen above the poverty line, and extreme poverty has declined to 3%. Modi's government has focused on empowering the middle class and meeting their fundamental needs.

"The airport is no longer just a luxury; it serves as a vital asset for travellers and a catalyst for economic growth, symbolizing development. In Dakshina Kannada, the opening of approximately 10 medical colleges annually results in the production of 1,50,000 doctors. The new education policy facilitates learning in our native languages. Siddaramaiah's government is accused of promoting anti-national elements and terrorists, evident in the release of arrested PFI members. The Indi alliance appears indifferent to national interests, contributing to a rise in terrorism within Karnataka. We are not just voting for the BJP; we are voting for Bharat's safety, which can only be ensured by the return of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The inauguration of the Ram Mandir was more than just a temple; it symbolized liberation from centuries of oppression. History will remember those who supported Modi, including us. We will dedicate ourselves to booth-level work, spreading Modi's message tirelessly. The BJP alliance is poised to secure all seats this time, supported by Narendra Modi's strong backing in South India. I look forward to returning here after the elections.

"Narendra Modi has effectively addressed unemployment and financial challenges. When he assumed office, India's economy ranked 11th globally; today, we stand at 5th place, showcasing rapid progress under his leadership. Modi has also pledged that during his third term, India will ascend to become the world's 3rd largest economy. This is not a promise from the Congress; it is Modi's assurance," he stated.

He further commended Narendra Modi for the recent success of a new missile launched yesterday, boasting a range of 5000-7000 km. He lauded the achievements in the defence sector and highlighted India's participation and accomplishments at the G20 Summit. Additionally, he praised the Prime Minister for the advancements made in the Vande Bharat Train project.

Addressing the gathering, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel stated, "We aimed to halt cow slaughtering, and under B S Yediyurappa’s leadership, it was enacted into law. Similarly, the goal to prevent religious conversion was achieved under the guidance of Basavaraj Bommai. Dakshina Kannada played a pivotal role in banning PFI, even summoning NIA to Mangaluru. The BJP government has effectively curtailed terrorism in the state, fulfilling its promises. As a politician, I have maintained integrity by not associating with corrupt individuals. I firmly believe that Narendra Modi should serve as Prime Minister once again."

"This time, we anticipate winning with a substantial margin, aiming to secure 3,00,000 votes, which now seems achievable as we consistently deliver on our promises. The realization of our dream of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir has brought satisfaction to all Hindus. Additionally, we have successfully addressed issues in Kashmir. Moreover, our district has received two Vande Bharat Trains. Progress is underway on the Shiradi Ghats project, while the plastic park, 70% completed, stands as the first of its kind in India. We are proud to host India's first Coast Guard training center. Gas pipelines have been extended to homes, benefiting 2,00,000 households. The popularity of the Mudra Yojana in our district brings me joy. The Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana has significantly aided farmers, and the Ayushman Bharat scheme has facilitated healthcare access. Furthermore, substantial progress has been made in constructing toilets," he said.

Devendra Fadnavis later addressed the media, stating, "The Siddaramaiah's government in Karnataka made certain promises to come into power, which have proven to be a colossal failure. Today, people place their trust solely in Modi's guarantee because it surpasses all others. The entirety of Karnataka stands with Narendra Modi, and I am confident that the BJP will secure a significant number of seats in the state, breaking all records."

When asked about seat sharing, the deputy minister responded, "All decisions regarding seat sharing are still pending, and once they are finalized, they will be announced publicly."

On the chief minister of Haryana resining earlier in the day, he said, "It is understandable; it is their personal choice. We will wait and observe the outcome."

On a query over the Bengaluru bomb blast and whether the ATS would assist in its investigation, the deputy chief minister responded, “When it comes to national security concerns, state boundaries cease to exist. We are committed to providing any assistance required by the government or ATS. It is imperative that such incidents are taken seriously, and political considerations should not overshadow matters of public safety. Transparency is crucial, and if any state requires assistance, we are ready to provide support."

Before 2014 India was in chaos due to the mismanagement corruption . If the party that was ruling for past 60 yrs would have worked with out involving any kind of corruption today India would have been much better position. This is the reason why people have voted out corrupt anti national parties out . For next many years hope people will keep all those corrupt parties out and vote for good governance and development. These same party sold land to pakistan and china right from 1948 till 1970 . They created all kind of border problems.Hence vote carefully and kepp corrupt parties out.

Devendra-ji we have listened patiently for over a decade to many speeches made our many elected representatives. If democracy is for the people, by the people and of the people, then for a change can you all very kindly give the people a chance to speak, and you listen? Since 2014 like "Mamma's boys" we have oiled our ears well, and listened attentively. Some even believed. In the same way please have press conferences, where the questions are asked in front of live cameras without any pre conditions and hinderances, and most importantly "Freedom After Speech"

Smallest country like Maldives, has kicked out India from its soil and welcomed China. This was long time friend of India. What do we make of it? This is not something that we can cheer. This must be concerning to every Indian. As we lost one key and strategic point, which has high significance for our defense forces. Bhakths can dip themselves in dirt calling it as covid vaccine. Cant help. But, one who is patriotic must be concerned with all these developments.

Fadnavis just answer under whom Akshardham temple attack took place, how come Pathankot airforce base got terror attack, how come Pulwama massacre took place? Godhra and later the pogrom of minorities happened despite Modi at the helm in Gujarat and now India? If you still claim India is safe then you are lying and think we have short memory. China has occupied 4500 square kms of our land and our PM stated it's their land, why he is scared of China?
