Salem, Mar 14: Ramya R, hailing from Salem, has etched her name in history through her remarkable performance and analytical prowess, securing a ground-breaking salary offer from a Singapore-based company. The Tolaram Group extended an unprecedented package of Rs 64.15 lac to Ramya in March 2023, following her selection via campus placement at IIM Sambalpur. She has since embarked on her journey with the firm, stationed at their facility in Nigeria.

Ramya's ascent to this remarkable achievement was not without its challenges. Enduring six rigorous interview rounds, she showcased her exceptional management and analytical skills, distinguishing herself among the candidates.

At a mere 22 years of age, Ramya's accomplishment is particularly noteworthy. Her success has not only brought her personal fulfillment but has also served as an inspiration to the women in her village. Encouraged by her achievement, they are now more inclined to pursue education and seek better opportunities beyond the confines of their village.

As the first graduate in her family, Ramya's academic journey began with a degree in literature from Namakkal, Tamil Nadu. She credits the faculty at IIM Sambalpur for nurturing her aspirations and aiding her in realizing her dreams.

Ramya attributes much of her success to the values instilled in her by her father, a hardworking and dedicated farmer from Salem. His ethos of ethics and commitment has been a guiding light in Ramya's journey.

Since May 2023, Ramya has been actively contributing to the Tolaram Group's operations in Nigeria. Her story stands as a testament to the power of determination, resilience, and the pursuit of excellence, transcending boundaries and inspiring countless others along the way.

Success doesn't mean "only" salary or passing IAS. These are some of the many things that can contribute to one's success. For one , it could mean serving the poor and attaining happiness. For some others, it could be achieving peace in the family or some one else passing senseless comments on daiji.. To each one , his/her own.
