Udupi: Bus owner dies after being struck by his own vehicle

Udupi, Mar 14: In a tragic incident in Udupi, a bus owner lost his life after being struck by his own bus.

The victim, identified as Dayanand Shetty, was inspecting his bus, which was parked for repairs at a garage in Athrady.

According to reports, Dayanand had arrived at the garage to oversee repair works on his bus. As he stood in front of the vehicle, unaware to him, the mechanic inadvertently started the engine, causing the
bus to move forward.

In a horrifying turn of events, the bus struck Dayanand, and he was fatally injured after being run over by the wheels.

A case is registered in Manipal police station.

    Very sad.Both are responsible for such a mischap.Machanic should have met the precautions before starting the bus necessary steps ,so that bus doest move forwards.Bus owner too should also stay in front without making his presence there notable.Now its happened.May his soul rest in peece.Heartfelt sympathy to his family.Hope a fair process to machanic too.

    This is a sad and unfortunate incident. Lack of precautions like placing a stopper in front of the tyres causes this type of mishap. May his soul attain sadgathi.
