Mangaluru, Mar 22: A new Kannada movie titled 'Line Man’, written and directed by V Raghu Shastry and produced by Purple Rock Entertainers, premiered in cinemas across Karnataka on Friday, March 21. The film made its debut at Bharath Mall in Mangaluru.
Addressing the audience, Vijay Kumar Kodialbail expressed his joy, stating, "This movie introduces a fresh concept to Kannada cinema. Having watched it myself, I can attest to the significant contribution made by Kadri Manikanth to Tulu cinema. The entire cast and crew of 'Line Man' have put in tremendous effort to bring this movie to fruition, and such endeavours deserve our support. Manikanth's return to Mangaluru with promising movies is indeed a boon, and the lead actor has delivered an outstanding performance."
Kadri Manikanth added, "Today, we are gathered here to extend our blessings to the movie. 'Line Man' boasts a compelling storyline, with nearly 50 artistes contributing to its success. While the movie addresses issues like power cuts, it also delves into the protagonist's journey of connection-making within the narrative. I extend my gratitude to everyone present here for their support."
Yathish Bykampadi remarked, "Kadri Manikanth enjoys widespread popularity not only in Mangaluru but also in cities like Bengaluru and Chennai, where he is highly respected. The event saw the presence of Mime Ramdas, Suhan Prasad, and other crew members of 'Line Man’.

'Line Man' is co-produced by Prachura P, Kadri Manikanth, Jyothi Raghu Shastry, and Bhala Studios, with Ganesh Papanna serving as the executive producer. The film features sound design by VG Rajen, sound mixing by L Sathish Kumar, music by Kadri Manikanth, cinematography by Shanti Sagar HG, and editing by Raghunath L, among other contributors to its production.
