Beltangady, Mar 25: On Sunday, a barber tragically suffered a cardiac arrest while cutting a customer's hair and passed away on the way to the hospital.
The deceased, Radhakrishna Bhandary (49), was a native of Somanthadka in Mundaje but was residing in Ujire at the time of his death. He experienced chest pain while attending to a customer, and despite being rushed to a hospital in Mangaluru, he passed away on the way.
Radhakrishna was the son of Devaraja Bhandary and Ratnavati, the owners of the renowned Raj Hair Dressers in Ujire. He had worked alongside his father for many years and eventually started his own shop named R K Saloon a few years ago. Additionally, he owned R K Bakery in Ujire town.
Just a month ago, Radhakrishna celebrated the grand housewarming of his newly built residence on Ujire Surya Road. He is survived by his parents, wife, son, and daughter.
