Mangaluru, Mar 25: "The congratulations I've received upon securing the ticket are not just for me, but for Narendra Modi, and I am fully committed to ensuring the city's development. The upcoming 2024 elections will mark Narendra Modi's return as Prime Minister, and reflecting on India's progress over the past decade under his leadership reveals his commitment to 'Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas' in every scheme initiated. The assurance we have is in the guarantee of Hindutva and the leadership of Narendra Modi, who is a champion for the welfare of women and children in our nation," remarked Karnataka BJP President and Lok Sabha candidate for Dakshina Kannada, Capt. Brijesh Chowta.

Speaking at the BJP Mangaluru City south zone workers' convention on Monday, March 25, at T V Raman Pai Hall, Capt Chowta emphasized, "This is a moment of pride for all of us here. Dakshina Kannada district stands as a testament to the hard work and sacrifices of our forefathers, and I pray for the strength to confront the challenges ahead. It's crucial for us to engage with the public and understand their needs to ensure BJP's success in Dakshina Kannada. Narendra Modi's leadership is marked by action, not mere political theater. His unwavering commitment to Hinduism and national development is evident, as seen in significant milestones like the Ayodhya Ram temple construction, which symbolizes the culmination of a 500-year-old aspiration."

Also present at the event, Nalin Kumar Kateel, MP, asserted, "Over the past five years, we've attracted substantial investments into the city, thanks to the dedicated efforts of our party workers. I firmly believe that we'll secure victory with a margin of 50,000 votes, creating history once again. Having served as an MP for 15 years, starting as a humble candidate of the RSS, I express my gratitude to all party members for their unwavering support. It's heartening to see India prosper under Modiji's leadership, and I wholeheartedly welcome Capt. Brijesh Chowta's selection. Under Modiji's vision, Mangaluru has witnessed transformative development, from improved infrastructure to enhanced amenities. The recent inauguration of the Vande Bharat trains underscores his commitment to progress. Our victory lies in our ability to win over each booth, and that remains our primary objective."

Adding to the sentiments, Vedavyas Kamath, MLA of Mangaluru South, affirmed, "We're committed to ensuring Modi's re-election. The success of BJP today is a testament to Narendra Modi's visionary leadership, which has earned India global recognition. His tireless efforts have translated into tangible results, such as the historic Ram Mandir construction. Under the NDA government, Mangaluru received significant developmental funds, transforming its infrastructure and connectivity. Modi's proactive diplomacy, as witnessed during the Russia-Ukraine crisis, exemplifies his ability to navigate global challenges and safeguard Indian interests. We must mobilize voters to ensure Modi's victory, aiming for a lead of 45,000 votes. Let's unite the people across districts and make history with Capt. Brijesh Chowta's candidacy."

The event was expertly hosted by Chetan Shetty.

Also present on the occasion were Sathish Kumpala, Monnapa Bhandari, Dr Ganesh, Rakesh Rai, Premananda Shetty, Sudhir Shetty Kannur, Nagraj Shetty, Sunita, Jesil D'Silva, Ravishankar Mijar, Vijay Kumar Shetty, Poornima M, Yatish Alva, Sanjay Prabhu, Mahesh Jogi, Ramesh Hegde, Lalesh, Pooja Pai, Manjula, and all BJP members.

In 2014 Modi had said that the Gandhi family hoarded so much money (looted from the public) in Swiss Banks that can be calculated @ 15 Lakhs per each Indian citizen. Granted, we are not asking it to be distributed, but he may have certainly got it back ? Where did it go ? Where did the loan taken from IMF go ? Where did the GST collected from the entire nation go ? Where did 'PM Cares Fund' amount go ? Where did the money collected from Electoral Bonds go ? Please answer this before presenting yourself as Modi's representative.

In the last 3 years, the BJP has admitted all corrupt people implicated by the ED into its fold, and after their joining there, all their inquiries stopped, and some have gotten clean chits, securing a washing machine nickname for this party. What Modi said in his speeches, Na Khaoonga, Na Khaane Doonga, appears to be an election jumla, as publicly agreed by the Modi-Shah duo in one of their interviews. It is very sad to see the party filled with such corrupt people from other parties; the whole party is getting a bad name. A major chunk of electoral funds has also gone to them due to the apparent misuse of state machinery. State governments are toppled by offering crores of such money. We can't see any difference between the BJP and other parties, which makes one wonder why he should vote for such a corruption-promoting party. Everyone needs to think about this, and the party needs to answer the public on this. You can fool some people some time, but not all the time. Jai Hind.

Last speech in the Constituent Assembly, ---Dr BR AMBEDKAR ---AN EXTRACT -- (The fear of "eventual dictatorship."---) --- "Irish Patriot Daniel O'Connell, no man can be grateful at the cost of his honor, no woman can be grateful at the cost of her chastity and no nation can be grateful at the cost of its liberty. This caution is far more necessary in the case of India than in the case of any other country. For in India, Bhakti or what may be called the path of devotion or hero-worship, plays a part in its politics unequalled in magnitude by the part it plays in the politics of any other country in the world. Bhakti in religion may be a road to the salvation of the soul. But in politics, Bhakti or hero-worship is a sure road to degradation and to eventual dictatorship."---

Since 1991 BJP MPs were given opportunity to serve and develop DK. Have they made any concrete contribution to the welfare of the people. We went to gulf and other countries to earn our daily bread. We struggled to educate our children and find them job. No job opportunities in Mangalore or DK except cooli work. Now the workers from other states have come here to do the menial works. Agriculture and Industry is developed by private not by the government. Can they give a white paper on the development works done by BJP since 35 years in DK. Instead they built barriers between communities and castes spitting venom. We are in a sorry state in Mangalore. Create employment and teach the people to earn and spend. Do not feed the people by giving guarantees like free ration, money to their accounts etc and make them to depend on govt. schemes. instead reduce the cooking gas cylinder price, electricity bill, Middle class people are suffering. BPL class and rich people are enjoying. Regular tax payers are middle class and upper middle class by working hard and feeding the Govt. Ministers get salary, telephone allowance, free air travel, free railway travel, pension till the death. BPL get all facilities. Is it subka saath subka vikas ? Any politician can make guarantee promises. (example 15 lacs to everyone account,) has anyone got this amount ?) Apart from lip service to Modiji, why BJP is silent on Delhi Liquor Scam? Here is the answer: AAP raises the million dollar question about the relationship between the Reddy and the BJP. The AAP has questioned the silence maintained by the BJP over its relationship with Sarath Chandra Reddy, the prime accused and the "kingpin" of the so-called Delhi liquor excise scam, whose companies donated Rs 60 crore to the BJP through electoral bonds. Electoral bonds: Aurobindo Pharma, whose director turned approver in Delhi liquor case, gave around Rs 34 cr to BJP The AAP leader also said the 'money trail' specified by the central agency in its case against Kejriwal went to the BJP by the way of electoral bonds. "Arvind Kejriwal was arrested in the same case two days back based on the statement of just one person- Sharat Chandra Reddy. He is the owner of Aurobindo Pharma, and paid to the BJP via electoral bonds," Atishi said. Delhi minister Saurabh Bharadwaj told reporters that the BJP took around Rs 60 crore from "the biggest kingpin in the so-called excise policy case" Sarath Chandra Reddy. You think Modiji did not know how BJP was getting hundreds of crores? Why then speak about clean politics?
