Udupi, Mar 26: In a heart-breaking incident, two youths lost their lives after getting entangled in a fishing net and drowning in a lake in Nagarmutt, Barkur.
The victims have been identified as Shreesha (19) and Prashant (35).
The tragedy struck when the youths became ensnared in the fishing net while in the lake.
Both bodies of the drowned youths were successfully retrieved by Eshwar Malpe and his team.
Local authorities and rescue teams were actively involved in the search and recovery operation.
