Mangaluru, Mar 27: NSS unit of Srinivas College of Pharmacy in association with Indian Pharmaceutical Association, D K district, Mangaluru has organized Bharath Samvidhan Jnan Abhiyan Programme in Srinivas College campus, Valachil on March 26.
Chief guest, Dr Anantha Krishna Bhat, founder president, Saraswathi Education and Welfare Trust, Meghalaya inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp and distributed the Indian Constitution books written and published by himself. Dr Bhat said that constitution serves as the basic foundation for a parliamentary form of governance.
Dr A R Shabaraya principal and director, and president, IPA local branch, Mangaluru said that the constitution of India is the supreme law of the nation and it is our duty to respect and uphold it. Dr EVS Subrahmanyam, professor and president, IPA local branch, Mangaluru was present.
NSS programme coordinators, Dr Shripathy D, professor, welcomed the gathering. Ashoka Shenoy, Gopikrishna U V and Ramdas Bhat coordinated the programme. Shetty Nireeksha and Vinutha Naik anchored the programme. Dr A R Shabaraya proposed vote of thanks.
