Mangaluru: Police raid illegal slaughterhouse in Valachil, arrest three

Mangaluru, Mar 29: The rural police of the city conducted a raid on a house situated at Valachil on the outskirts, uncovering an illegal slaughterhouse in operation. Three individuals were apprehended, and 180 kg of beef was seized during the operation.

The arrested individuals are Khader Mohammed, also known as Monu (52), residing in Adyar Valachil, Ismail (27) from Maripalla, and Mohammed Shaveer (18) from Adyarpadav.

Following a credible tip-off, law enforcement officers raided Khader Mohammed's residence. The arrested suspects have been presented before the court. The operation was carried out by personnel from the rural police station, with inspector Shivakumar, Arun Kumar, and their team, under the leadership of south ACP Dhanya Nayak.
