Udupi: Mount Rosary School, Santhekatte holds graduation day of kindergarten section

Udupi, Mar 30: Graduation day ceremony of the kindergarten section of Mount Rosary English medium school, Santhekatte was held in the school auditorium. The programme began with the prayer song and dance of children.

Dr Arun Vernekar, renowned child specialist was the chief guest for the programme. Speaking on the occasion, he called upon the parents to keep their children away from mobile phones and cultivate them by reading books. Parents also have a great responsibility of upbringing the children with patriotic fervours and values.

Fr Oliver Nazreth, assistant parish priest, presided over the programme. He wished the children well and said that if they are given discipline and good guidance, they will do good for the family and the society.

Teacher Sophia taught the pledge of allegiance to the little children. Sharing their experiences on behalf of the parents, Sarath Acharya and Treza Mendonsa praised all the teachers of the KG department for their guidance and patience. Leksha, Vihan, and Ananya shared their thoughts on behalf of the 156 graduates.

Parent  representative Sannidhi Prabhu was on the dais.

School headmistress Sister Ancilla welcomed and presented the report. Teacher Safina, head of KG department, compered,  teacher Saraswati proposed vote of thanks.
