Udupi: Bus cleaner steals money kept for diesel

Udupi, Apr 2: A bus cleaner decamped with the cash that was kept on the dashboard to fill diesel for the vehicle. This incident is reported from Manipal.

Rs 96,500 was kept on the dash board of bus bearing registration number NL-01-B-7099. This was stolen by Arun Sajjan Raj, who was working as cleaner of the vehicle.

Owner of the bus Srikant Rao has filed a complaint in this regard in Manipal police station.

    Cleaner saw his chance.Other question still in this age of didgital payment are they using still this chiller money to tank´?How can bus cleaner steel this ?Noone was nearby by his work?Such a big amount was in front of eyes ,anyone could do this?If Private one is tank with small amount ok.But not Buses of KRTC etc.
