Mangaluru: YIASCM organizes career guidance programme

Mangaluru, Apr 3: The Yenepoya Institute of Arts, Science, Commerce and Management's (YIASCM) department of design recently hosted ‘What's Next After Grade 12?’ - a career exploration event on March 30, at Kulur campus, YIASCM. Dr Ananth Prabhu G, director of Surepass Academy and professor at Sahyadri College, served as the resource person, offering insightful guidance across various career paths. 

The event was a remarkable success, attracting over 250 enthusiastic students who left feeling inspired and motivated. Notable figures present included chief guest Gangadhar Alva, former president of DK PU principal association, and guest of honour Dr Ananth Pai, principal of Thrisha Vidya PU College. Presiding over the occasion were Dr Arun A Bhagwath, principal and dean, along with Dr Jeevan Raj, vice principal, and Dr Sakeena Nasser, HOD of the department of humanities and social sciences.

Deepali Shenoy, senior manager at ISDC Global, played a pivotal role in coordinating the event and warmly welcomed the attendees. The session was skillfully compered by Saksha Shetty, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Bharath N K.
