Bantwal: Two file complaints alleging assault against each other over financial dispute

Bantwal, Apr 4: A man entered the house of an individual in Kepu village, Adyanadka, Vittal taluk, and assaulted him with a knife over a financial dispute.

According to details from the complaint filed by victim Mohammed Ali (36), a resident of Kepu village, on the afternoon of April 2, when he was at home, accused Ganesh entered his house and initiated an altercation over a financial matter. The accused also used abusive language and attacked the victim with a knife. He fled from the spot upon seeing some locals approaching.

Injured Mohammed Ali has been admitted to Highland Hospital in Mangaluru. A case regarding this incident has been registered at Vittal police station.

Continuing this case, accused Ganesh (29), a resident of Enmakaji village, Manjeshwar, Kasargod district, filed a complaint against Mohammed Ali for assaulting him with a knife and threatening his life at Vittal police station.

Vittal police are conducting further investigation.
