Udupi, Apr 8: A tragic incident unfolded on Sunday night as a hotel worker took his own life by hanging in the restroom of the hotel.
The deceased has been identified as Santhosh Raghurama Shetty, a resident of Heroor. The exact motive behind the suicide remains unclear.
Upon receiving the report, officers from the city police station, Punit Kumar and Mari Gowda, arrived at the scene to conduct a thorough investigation. Social worker Nityananda Olakadu provided assistance in transporting the body to the Ajjarkad Medical Examination Centre.
