New Delhi, Oct 6 (IANS): Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said Thursday he was "saddened" by the death of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs and described him as an "innovative man who had taught the world new ways to communicate and connect".
Jobs, the visionary former chief of Apple who led a mobile-computing revolution with wildly popular devices such as the iPhone, died in California Wednesday. He was 56.
"I am deeply saddened to learn of the demise of Steve Jobs. He was a truly innovative man. Steve Job taught us new ways to connect and communicate," said a statement issued here.
