Udupi: Annual feast of Kalavaru Pejavara St Joseph Church celebrated

Udupi, April 10: The annual feast of Kalavaru Pejavara St Joseph church was celebrated with pomp and gaiety. The Bishop Emeritus of Mangaluru diocese, Dr Aloysius Paul D’ Souza celebrated the festal mass.
Pejavar church priest delivered the keynote address. He felicitated the chief sponsor who shouldered all the expenses of the festival celebrations, Mary Patrao and family members, Permude ward.
He also honoured with flower bouquets, the Bishop Emeritus and other priests. Mary Patrao and other donors who extended helping hand were honoured by distributing candles.
Other church priests of Pejavara zone, Dr Ronald Cutinho, assistant parish priest Osmond Roshan D’ Souza, Antony Louis D’ Souza, Francis Rodrigues, Rudolf Ravi D’ Sa, Melwin D’ Souza, SVD, Lawrence D’ Souza Tannirbavi, church parish pastoral council vice president Anil Peres and others were present. Secretary Philomena Fernandes read the list of donors.
