Two Canara colleges in Mangaluru achieve 10 ranks in II PU exams

Mangaluru, Apr 11: Canara PU College secured the second place in the state in the Commerce section. Out of 10 toppers, six of them are from the college.

Canara PU College has bagged five ranks in the Commerce discipline and one in the Science stream.

B Tulasi Pai has scored 596 out of 600 marks in the Commerce section and has bagged the second rank in Karnataka state while Samruddhi has got fourth rank with 594 marks. G Sandhya Bhandary and Nishal Cutinho have both got eighth rank with 590 marks. Shreya R Prabhu has bagged the 10th rank with 588 marks.

In the Science stream, Akash D Rathod has bagged the eighth rank with 591 marks. As many as 246 students got distinction and 376 students cleared the examination in first class. The overall pass percentage is 97.06.

Canara Vikasa PU College has secured 100% results and has bagged four out of the first 10 ranks. In the science stream, Satwik M R scored 591 marks and has bagged the eighth rank while Arfa Nayaz got 590 marks securing the ninth rank.

In the Commerce section, Suviksha V K scored 593 marks and has got the fifth rank, while Anant Vivek Pai has got the ninth rank with 598 marks.

In total 270 students got distinction and 54 students secured first class. Administrative board, principal, dean and lecturers of the college have congratulated the students for their excellent performance.
