Stage set for PM Modi’s roadshow in Mangaluru city

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Apr 14: Heavy police presence is evident on the city's roads in anticipation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s roadshow on Sunday, April 14.

Police patrols were deployed from Saturday evening onward, with SPG officials from Delhi overseeing Modi’s roadshow route through continuous monitoring via more than 25 CCTV cameras installed along the way.

Building owners have been instructed by police to collect Aadhar card details from individuals occupying their facilities on Sunday to watch the roadshow. Traffic along the roadshow route will be prohibited from Sunday afternoon.

A significant contingent of law enforcement personnel has been assigned to duty along the roadshow route, including ADGP, IGP, five SP/DCP, 10 DySP/ACP, 36 inspectors, 67 PSIs, 147 ASIs, 1207 HC/constables, 92 homeguards, five KSRP platoons, 19 CAR platoons, two CRPF companies, four ASC teams, one BDDS team, 30 DMFD/HHMD units, and 34 sector mobiles.

SPG snipers will maintain vigilant surveillance from high-rise buildings flanking the roadshow route, while high-focus lights capable of illuminating up to 100 meters are deployed to mitigate potential risks.

A tempo vehicle, similar to the one used during Modi's roadshow in Chennai, has been brought to Mangaluru. A letter requesting permission for candidates Capt Brijesh Chowta, Kota Srinivas Poojary, and MP Nalin Kumar Kateel to accompany PM Modi during the roadshow has been submitted to SPG.

Perhaps you never saw them lose Karnataka in the last assembly elections. Those who are blind, don't get their sight back. Or, do they ? Better not underestimate the intelligence of the voting public.

I hate to admit. Besides the usual malcious ranting , Congress does not have a strategy to counter BJP, A leader who has no standing in his own family bastion and a joke. A president who walks with great difficulty , launching his son and son in law being his priority. I do not see Congress winning, sorry.
