Udupi, Apr 14: The Udupi district Congress kick-started the door-to-door campaign on the birthday of Dr B R Ambedkar at the booth levels.
The leaders paid tribute to Dr B R Ambedkar and began the campaigning activity.
The mass campaign was held at every booth level. The party workers visited the households and asked the voters support in the election.
The campaign also aimed at promoting the Prajadwani 2.0 meet which will be held in Udupi on April 16. Chief minister Siddaramaiah and KPCC president D K Shivakumar are expected to attend the programme.
District level, block level and booth level leaders of the party participated in the day-long campaign movement.
