Kundapur: Cong nominee J P Hegde calls on former council chairman Prathapchandra Shetty

Kundapura, April 18: Congress party candidate for Udupi–Chikkamangaluru constituency K Jayaprakash Hegde called on former chairman of Legislative Council Prathapchandra Shetty, also a veteran party leader on Wednesday, April 17, to hold discussions over election strategies.

A delegation led by MLC Manjunath Bhandary visited the residence of Pratapchandra Shetty at Hykady. Congress party leaders in the district also participated in the discussions there over the Lok Sabha elections.

Party leaders M Dinesh Hegde Molahalli, district Congress committee president Kishan Hegde Kolkebail, Kundapura block Congress president Kanmakki, Hariprasad Shetty and Pravin Ballal were present.
