Mangalore: CSI Sushanthi Church Celebrates Harvest Festival

Mangalore, Oct 9: As a sign of thanks-giving service to the God, harvest festival was held at CSI Sushanthi Church, Mercarahill here on Sunday October 9.

D I Hans, vice-chairman, invoked the blessings of god with the prayer. In his address to the gathering he said that celebrating harvest festival is nothing but a mark of respect and gratitude to the God for availing human community with food.

Later devotees were given the blessed crops which they took home with joyous thoughts.

In the afternoon, 2.30 onwards athletic sports will held at the Mercarahill Church Compound. Mr World 1990 Raymond D’Souza will be the chief guest for the occasion.

William Sanjeeva Puthran, chairman, Jyothi Britto, convener, Shavina Soans, secretary, Manoj Manjers, treasurer and Karen Anchan, joint-secretary will be present.
