With the support of teachers, we can achieve success and bring about significant improvements in the educational framework” said K K Manjunath Kumar, Congress candidate for South-West Teachers Constituency here in Udupi.
Manjunath Kumar addressed a range of issues pertinent to the educational sector, prominently advocating for the reinstatement of the old fixed pension scheme in place of the newly implemented pension scheme. He expressed a firm commitment to resolving the challenges faced by teachers in the constituency.
Kumar’s campaign will focus on a broad spectrum of educational reforms, including better retirement benefits for teachers, which he believes will attract more professionals to the teaching profession and ultimately enhance the quality of education within the constituency.
His appeal to the voters was clear as he emphasised the importance of their support in bringing about the desired changes. The election, scheduled for June 2024, is expected to be a closely watched affair, with education being a critical issue for the voters of the South-West Teachers constituency.
