Mangalore: 'IAS etc. Examination Awareness' Programme Held

Mangalore, Oct 10: An 'IAS etc. examination awareness'  programme was held on Saturday October 8 at World Konkani Centre, here.

The programme was organized by World Konkani Centre under its KSHAMATA initiative to provide higher achievement motivation in students. The two hour session was addressed by Dr P D Shenoy, retired IAS officer and former Union Labour secretary.

In an interactive session, he said, “If one can prepare and Pass CA or Engineering, then one can pass IAS exam too. IAS can be achieved if one plans for it in a systematic manner”.

C D Kamath, former Managing Director of Tata Refractories Ltd. honoured Dr PD Shenoy. An Information Booklet on UPSC examinations prepared by Dr Shenoy was distributed to the participants.

President of World Konkani Centre, Basti Vaman Shenoy welcomed the guests and gathering. Venkatesh N Baliga, secretary delivered the vote of thanks.

The programme was attended by about 100 IAS aspirants and students.
