Mangaluru, Apr 24: The Friends Ballalbagh Biruver Kudla has recently completed the construction of a house worth Rs 12 lac as part of their Mahaseva project. This noble initiative aimed to provide housing for economically backward families, with the Devadiga couple from Kudupu Tiruvailu grama being the beneficiaries. The house was officially handed over on Wednesday, April 24.
Rajashekharananda Swamiji of Gurpur Vajradehi Math blessed the occasion, praising the Biruver Kudla youth group for their altruistic efforts in assisting the underprivileged. He lauded their construction of nine houses and generous monetary contributions, emphasizing the commendable synergy between donors and youth volunteers.
MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, acknowledging the organization's compassionate endeavours, likened their actions to fulfilling the teachings of Brahmashree Narayanaguru. He expressed gratitude for their substantial financial aid, totalling nearly Rs eight crore, which has supported housing projects and medical expenses.
Vidhan Sabha Speaker U T Khader commended Biruver Kudla's impactful societal initiatives under the guidance of founder president Udaya Poojary. Other dignitaries, including MLA Dr Bharath Shetty Y, Vedavyas Kamath, actor Rupesh Shetty, Harikrishna Bantwal, and Kudroli Temple president H S Sairam, extended their congratulations and best wishes for the organization's continued success.
