SEPC nominates Fr Francis D’Almeida to task force on higher education

Bengaluru, Apr 27: In a proactive move aimed at reforming the higher education landscape in Karnataka, the State Education Policy Commission (SEPC) has initiated the formation of theme-based task forces.

One such crucial task force, dedicated to examining the structure of educational institutions, educational achievements, dropout rates, retention, transitions, and socio-economic disparities, has appointed Fr Francis D’Almeida from St Aloysius College, Mangaluru, as a member.

    Fr.Francis Almeida is one year senior to me in Noviciate . of the year 1975-1976 (Jesuit religious training for priests) a great man indeed being a good friend a good guide to my life, after his retirement on headding the many institurions, he deserves the present possition, this possition is higher than that of the chancellor of any university. i pray for his succesful mission. I trust and have confidence that he will excell in the present assignment being be a model to the education sytem of Karntaka and not only to Karnataka but to India as ihs guidence and vision will be a model to our beloved country, INDIA, BHARAT.. I, Command that God bless him.
