Byndoor, Apr 28: "We have realized that former DCM K S Eshwarappa's mentality of targeting BJP votes is aiding Congress's victory. As patriots, we will support PM Modi and work for BJP candidate B Y Raghavendra in the Byndoor constituency. We have withdrawn the support we offered to K S Eshwarappa," stated Sridhar Bijoor of Rashtra Bhaktara Balaga at a press conference held at the BJP office in Byndoor.

Sridhar further emphasized, "Workers in Byndoor have been neglected, prompting our initial distancing from the BJP. However, with Eshwarappa's actions and his purported aim to bolster PM Modi, we extended our support. But now we realize he is facilitating Congress's success. Moreover, the recent handling of the Neha murder case in Hubballi by the Congress government has raised concerns. The rise of a jihadi mentality is alarming. We stand firm in our support for Raghavendra."

District BJP president Kishore Kumar Kundapur acknowledged Eshwarappa's success in luring some party workers but affirmed their return to the BJP fold. He expressed unity in working towards ensuring PM Modi's reelection.

MLAs Gururaj Gantihole and K Raghupati Bhat, along with Mandal president Deepak Kumar Shetty and Treasurer Ganesh Ganiga, were present at the conference.
