The chief inaugurator of the launch ceremony, Dr M Mohan Alva, chairman, Alvas Education Institute expressed joy on this occasion and said that, "Fortune Promoters was started by four friends - Abdulal Puttige, Mahendra Verma, Denis Pereira, Rony Fernandes. So far, they have completed eight projects in a time span of a decade and have earned a good name in the community.
