Udupi, Oct 12: The felicitation programme for National award winner Ashok Kumar Shetty, headmaster of Sriniketan High School, Matapady here and to retired headmaster Jayakar Shetty was held at Mahishamardini temple, Nilavar on Monday October 10.
It was held during the inaugural of cultural extravaganza organized on the occasion of Sharannavaratri celebrations.
Bellary entrepreneur Suresh Shetty Gurme felicitated well-known playback singer Kalavati Dayanand and musician Pushkal Shetty during the programme.
Mahishamardini temple managing trustee Baikady Suprasad Shetty, chief executive officer M P Puradaswamy, temple trustees and others were also present on the same occasion.
Variety of cultural shows were held as part of entertainment programmes.
