Bantwal: Jeevan Jyoti Camp – 2011 Begins at Modankap Parish

Bantwal, Oct 12: Life is full of sorrows and happiness.  The success lies in facing the challenges of life with grit and determination, said Zita Menezes, head teacher of Adarsh High School, Taccode.

Zita Menezes was speaking after inaugurating Jeevan Jyoti camp – 2011 that was held for Konkani Catholic students of Class X under Bantwal deanery at Modankap parish, here on Monday October 10 evening.


Bantwal deanery vicar Fr Roque D’Souza presided over the programme. Nirkan parish priest Fr Edwyn Correa was present at the dais.

Loretto parish priest Fr Cyprian Pinto welcomed the gathering. 226 students will participate in the camp that will conclude on Friday October 14.

The parish priests of Bantwal deanery under Mangalore diocese and religious nuns are assisting the camp.
