Mangaluru, Apr 30: A national level Techno-Cultural Fest ‘Envision-2024’ is organized by Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, Mangaluru on May 2 and 3.
The Envision-2024 will be inaugurated by Shipra Rai, vice president-people operations, Niveus Solutions Pvt Ltd. In this fest more than 800 students from over 50 Engineering colleges are expected to be participating in various technical and cultural events organised by different branches. Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, honourable chancellor, Srinivas University and president, A Shama Rao Foundation, will preside over the function, Dr A Srinivas Rao, honourable pro-chancellor, Srinivas University and vice president, A Shama Rao Foundation, A Vijayalakshmi R Rao, trustee, member board of governance, Srinivas University and Er A Mitra S Rao, trustee, member board of governance, Srinivas University will be the guest of honours.
On May 2, events will be organised under different departments. mechanical engineering department will be organising Uri: Surgical War, Gajini and Dhananjaya (Archery). Information science engineering department will conduct ‘Andhadhun’ (Blind Coding), ‘Doodle war’ (Mini militia) and Fast and Furious. The department of computer science and engineering will be organizing Bahubali: The Code Begins, Band Baaja Baarat, and Lights Camera and Action. The department of electronic and communication engineering, electrical and electronics engineering will conduct paper presentation, Ulidavaru Kandante, CID Moosa, TIK: TIK:TIK, No Pain: No Gain and Yaksha Sparsha. The department of aeronautical engineering will conduct mission impossible and battle of bands. The department of automobile engineering will conduct Need for sagacity, Nuts N’ Bolts (Pitstop). The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning will conduct The Coders of caribbean, Talaash: The Answer Lies Within and Lets Nacho. The department of computer science and business study will conduct code Express and Bollyuno (UNO). The department of computer science and design will conduct shuffled like a boom boom, DHOOM: The High Speed Chase” (Treasure hunt) and Fashion Ke Diwane
Different cultural events will be organised under Lalitaranga. Events such as Desi Kalakaar (Pencil Sketch), Pani Da Rang (Water Painting), Rangitaranga (Face Painting), Madarangi (Mehandi), Jab We Linked (Tattoo art on hand), Swaranuraaga (Singing), Chup Chup Ke (Dumb charades), Rang De Basanthi (Rangoli), Kheech Meri Photo (Photography), Mr, Ms Envision will be organised. These events will be open for all the college students across the country as stated by Dr Shrinivasa Mayya D, principal of the college. Fest will be convened by Dr Rajesh, assistant professor department of aeronautical engineering and organized by student organisers Jibin T V, Sangeetha Devadiga and Sumana.
