Mangaluru, May 6: Expert PU College, Kodialbail celebrated its Graduation Day on Monday, May 6 in Expodium. The event commenced with the college anthem, setting a vibrant tone for the rest of the day.

The graduation light was initiated by the chairman, Prof Narendra L Nayak and the vice chairperson of the institution, Dr Ushaprabha N Nayak. The flame was passed to the class representatives of graduating batches while the soothing strains of "Asatoma Sadgamaya" filled the air.

Speaking on occasion, the chairman told the students to remember every institute they studied to mold them to be responsible citizens.” He also added, “Be useful assets not just to the institutes but also to the nation.”

The vice chairperson in her address, emphasized the importance of continuous learning and ethical practices in personal and professional lives. She said, “When one door closes, several other doors open with better opportunities.”

Students who have made remarkable achievements in academics, sports, and other areas were felicitated with appreciation certificates, acknowledging their hard work and dedication.

One of the highlights of the day was the "Hearts Beat Loud" session, where students shared their heartfelt experiences and memorable moments from their time at the college. The emotional accounts added a personal touch to the event, drawing applause and tears.

In a symbolic gesture, an exchange of flags was conducted. This tradition marked the transfer of responsibilities from the graduating students to the next batch, ensuring the continuity of the legacy and values of the college.

Principal Prof Ramachandra Bhat, along with other teaching and non-teaching staff were present on the occasion. The discipline secretary of the student council, Prajna proposed a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the event's success and the academic year. This was followed by a lively photo session, capturing the graduates in their graduation caps, a moment of joy and pride for all present.
