Mangaluru: Fr Pradeep Rodrigues takes charge as new assistant parish priest of Valencia Church

Mangaluru, May 7: Newly ordained priest Fr Pradeep Rodrigues was welcomed as the new assistant parish priest of St Vincent Ferrer Church Valencia. Fr Roque D'Sa, parish priest along with Fr Vijay Monterio and members of the parish council and parishioners welcomed Fr Pradeep on Monday, May 6.
 
Fr Pradeep was accompanied by his parents, siblings, well-wishers and parish priest of St Francis Xavier Church Ferar Fr Antony Lewis.
 
Parish priest Fr Roque speaking during the occasion welcomed Fr Pradeep to Valencia and wished him happiness and success  in his mission. Describing Fr Pradeep, Fr D'Sa mentioned that Fr Rodrigues is a simple, genuine and affectionate person. "Fr Pradeep being my student in the seminary, I know him well and vice versa, he said and wished him good luck and welcomed him to Valencia.
 
 


















































 
Fr Pradeep while expressing his feelings thanked the parishioners of Valencia for accepting him and giving a warm welcome. He promised that he would continue the service as same as Fr Vijay did and sought everyone’s support in his mission.
 
About Fr Pradeep
 
Fr Pradeep Clarence Rodrigues belongs to St Francis Xavier Church Ferar. His father is Pascal and mother Celine Rodrigues. He is the third among his five siblings. He completed his BSW degree from St Philomena’s College Puttur and then completed his seminary studies from St Joseph’s seminary Jeppu. He served as a regent in Our Lady Of Remedies Church, Kirem and did his diaconal ministry at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Paneer.
