Kundapur, May 8: A two-day state-level cultural-technical and management competition was held in Kundapur’s Moodlekatte technical university with great enthusiasm and an award ceremony was organized on the second day.
Principal Dr Abdul Karim, programme coordinator, vice principal Dr Melvin D'Souza, and brand building director Dr Ramakrishna Hegde were present on the occasion.
More than 25 competitions were held in various categories and more than 30 colleges participated. Among them, the most attractive competition was the variety show, where Dr B B Hegde College Kundapur won the first position, while MGM College Udupi got the second position. Cash prizes and certificates were distributed to the winners of all competitions.
Dr B B Hegde College, Kundapur, which scored the highest marks in the cultural category, bagged the champion trophy. Anjuman Institute of Technology Bhatkal emerged as the runner up. Student Tejas and placement dean Prof Amritmala conducted the programme.
