Sampriti Yadav’s journey of being trailblazer in tech with record salary package

Patna, May 11: Sampriti Yadav made history in 2022 when she received an offer of an Rs 1.10 crore package from Google. Yadav had to undergo nine gruelling rounds of interviews to secure the position of software engineer. Currently, she works from London.

The surprising fact is that Sampriti did not pursue her B Tech from any of the IITs nor an MBA from the IIMs. She obtained her computer science B Tech degree from Delhi Technological University. Before joining Google, Sampriti was employed at Microsoft with an annual package of Rs 44 lac.

A native of Patna, Sampriti's father is a bank employee, and her mother works as an assistant director in the planning and development department of Patna.

Studious from childhood, Sampriti achieved a 10 CGPA in the 10th grade in 2014 from Notre Dame Academy. She went on to pursue her undergraduate studies at International School Delhi after cracking JEE mains in 2021. Sampriti received job offers from Flipkart and Adobe, but she declined them and accepted the offer from Microsoft. Interestingly, while she was considering the offer from Microsoft, Sampriti was hired by Google with a record-breaking package.
