Mangaluru: Boy barely clears SSLC exam, friends honour achievement with banner

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, May 13: In today's era, where students apply for revaluation even after scoring 99% marks, the friends of a boy who just managed to pass with 300 out of 625 marks celebrated his achievement by displaying a congratulatory banner in the city.

The friends of Haslin, a resident of Pacchanady, who appeared for the SSLC examination, were uncertain about whether he would clear the exam. However, when the results were announced, it turned out that Haslin had just scraped through. His friends celebrated his success by erecting a large banner on Mangalanagara road in Pachanady, using humorous language in the congratulatory message. Netizens remarked that the celebration of a just-passed student serves as a lesson to those who become distraught over slightly lower-than-expected marks.

The banner put up by Haslin's friends features amusing phrases, stating, "With the blessings of our parents, the scolding and encouragement from villagers, the miracles of tuition, the trials of school, the guidance of teachers, the lure of a bicycle and snacks, and the determination to succeed, our very own Bruce Lee has passed the SSLC examination. We are all overjoyed. Congratulations, Haslin, on clearing the SSLC examination with 300 marks."

The banner was organized by well-wishers and the Yuva Friends Mangalanagar group. It also includes a large photo of Haslin, affectionately referred to as Bruce Lee.

Great show of friendship. People who apply for revaluation after getting 99 percent are mad. Don't worry dude. You will do something big in your life. 90 percentile people always work under someone. And it's this 45 to 60 percentile people who give jobs to these 90 percent students. God bless u

Marks are just numbers on papers for admission. In today's world, those who succeed in business or society are often average in terms of marks. So, keep hope if you're an average marks achiever; one day, you might achieve more than those with higher marks.

In the present world of high competition in the field of employment opportunities students are pressurized to do very well and secure top marks in final exams. To some extend we can accept success in life depends on one's luck. Yes but no guarantee. Luck, hardworking, importantly elders and Gods blessings. (I'm proud to reveal that I fit in this category) 🕺🤠🙏

Congratulations Haslin...Be proud of your achievement as are your Friends and me. Marks are just numbers they dont denote your caliber , intelligence or the hard work put in. You have done me proud, I scored 239/600 in SSLC in 1975 from Milagres High School Mangalore, I've never looked back, Success comes with hard work, Look Forward. I've framed my Marks sheet and it hold a pride of place in my house. Humbly I Must say it serves as an inspiration to me and others. If you dont believe me get in touch with me thru FB for a photo of the marks card , I'd be delighted to share. Good Luck and God Bless.

Life is full of opportunities and challenges. Your 10th grade results don't define who you are or what you can achieve. Every day is a chance to learn, grow, and become the best version of yourself. Seize the day and make the most of it!

There cannot be more happiness than this.Look like while reading the news he was poor in studies. Even his own friends lost faith in his performance. Though it is not a great performance when others gets 100 out of 100 in maths and other subjects it gives us a hope not to loose hopes in life. Not to feel dejected in life.Success too comes in the form of luck.
