Kundapur: Renowned doctor, ornithologist Dr H S Malli passes away

Kundapur, May 14: Dr H Shubodh Kumar Malli (H S Malli), a renowned doctor, environmentalist, ornithologist, and owner of Yedthere Nursing Home, passed away on Monday night due to age-related illness.

Dr Malli made significant contributions to the medical field. He was also an environmentalist with a deep concern for birds, nature, and public health, and authored many books on these subjects. Additionally, he served as a gynaecologist. Dr Malli held various positions in the Rotary Club and was dedicated to social service. He volunteered free of charge at the Red Cross Society of Kundapur.

Dr Malli is survived by two married children and numerous friends and well-wishers. His mortal remains will be kept for public viewing at his residence, Manorama, until 4 PM on Tuesday, May 14, according to family sources.
