Kasaragod, May 19: In a tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, May 19, in the morning at Beturapara, a husband and wife got killed.
The deceased are identified as K K Krishnan (71) and his wife Chithrakala (57). Krishnan was a member of Kerala Traders’ Coordination Committee and he was also owner of a cloth shop at Bedadka.
The scooter rider lost control on the downward hill road at Beturapara on Bovikkana-Kuttikal road and hit a car. Though the locals took the couple to hospital within no time, they could not be saved.
The mortal remains of the couple have been kept in the Kasaragod General Hospital and will be handed over to their relatives after a post-mortem is carried out.
Bedadka police personnel have registered a case.
