Mangaluru, May 21: The makers of the Tulu movie ‘Balipe’ expressed happiness at finally completing the film, emphasizing that it was made through sheer hard work and features a horror touch.
Addressing the media on Tuesday, May 21, at Press Club Mangaluru, Dayanand G Kattalsar stated, "The movie 'Balipe' will be released in 16 theaters. Hemanth Suvarna initiated this project several years ago, and we are happy that it has come to completion. This movie has a good message and raises awareness about Daiva, as the number of Daiva devotees is depleting. It has a horror element and features good comedy by Tulu film star Aravind Bolar. The producer has done his best, and we are not engaging in expensive promotional tactics since we are working with a limited budget. I am also playing a special role in the third segment, and my role conveys a good message. All the artists have worked hard, and we have received good reviews so far. This movie has healthy comedy and is family-friendly. It will be released across Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts on May 24."
Harshith Bandari, the hero of ‘Balipe’, expressed happiness, stating, "The movie has finally come to completion. This project was difficult, but with the help of Dayanand G Kattalsar and our producer Hemanth, it has been completed. We have already held a premiere show and received good reviews. The whole team is on social media looking for reviews."
Ankita Patla, the heroine of ‘Balipe’, said, "Balipe was possible because of Hemanth sir and the whole team. Although the shooting for this movie was done a year ago, we are happy that our efforts are finally coming into the limelight."
Akash Reddy, the music producer of ‘Balipe’, mentioned, "Balipe is about to be released, and this movie has two main songs: 'Padanna' and 'Sari Samana.' 'Padanna' focuses on Tulu tradition, and 'Sari Samana' is a romantic song. We expect your support for our music."
When asked by the media if there are any mentions of Daiva names or stories in the movie, Dayanand Kattalsar explained, "Balipe talks about people's beliefs. We have not included any Daiva stories in our movie, but we have discussed the importance of the Kshetra. Our main motive is to show that there is a superior power above us."
Hemanth Ullal, Prasanth Poojary Alva, Harshith Bangera, and others were also present.
