Puttur-origin nursing student dies in fatal accident in Bengaluru

Puttur, May 31: A tragic accident occurred in Nelamangala, Bengaluru, involving a truck and a bike on May 30, where the rider of the bike, a student and native of Enjira Parakkala near Rekhya of Uppinangady, died on the spot.

The victim, identified as Thomas (19), son of Sneria and a resident of Parakkala, was studying nursing in Bengaluru. Thomas had left his home in Parakkala at 4 am on May 30 to travel to Bengaluru. As he approached Nelamangala on the outskirts of Bengaluru, a truck collided with his bike, causing him to fall under the truck's wheels.

Thomas is survived by his parents, elder sister, and elder brother.
